WorkCase study / Logistics and recycling

LPL-UK, online at last.

LPL-UK supplies, collects and recycles pallets for warehouses, manufacturers and distributors across the UK, and until now had no website at all. We designed and built lpl-uk.co.uk from a blank page: an industrial, confident site that explains the full range and puts a quote one tap away on every screen.

01 / Where it started

No old site. No online presence.

LPL-UK had stock, lorries and a strong reputation by word of mouth, but nothing for a buyer to find. Procurement teams and warehouse managers check a supplier online before they pick up the phone, so the business was invisible at exactly the moment it mattered.

  • Look established from day one, a serious national supplier, not a start-up on a template.
  • Make the range easy to scan: standard, euro, heat treated, plastic, new pallets and collars, each with its own page.
  • Sell the recycling side too: collections, repairs, cardboard and plastic waste, standing trailers.
  • Turn visits into quotes, with a phone number and a quote button never more than a glance away.

02 / How it ran

Built for buyers who are in a hurry.

Every homepage section answers one buyer question, in the order they ask it.

Step 1
01

What do you sell?

Product cards with cut-out photography, one per pallet type.

Step 2
02

What else?

An icon-led services grid on the dark industrial palette.

Step 3
03

How does it work?

A three-step timeline beside the capacity numbers.

Step 4
04

Recycling

Pallet, plastic and cardboard recycling and standing trailers.

03 / What we built

Industrial, confident, unmistakably blue.

We built the identity around the LPL-UK logo: near-black warehouse tones, one bright signal blue (#00AEEF), and heavy headlines that end in a blue full stop. It feels like a logistics company, not a brochure.

  • A catalogue, not a wall of text. Each pallet type sits on a clean white card with a cut-out photo, a one-line use case and a link to its own page, so a buyer can tell standard from euro from heat treated in seconds.
  • Process and proof side by side. Stock levels, load sizes, the 48-hour collection target and free standing trailers sit next to the three steps, so nobody has to ring to find out whether LPL-UK can handle their volume.
  • Recycling sold as a service, not a footnote. A full-bleed blue panel and four service cards give recycling the same weight as the products, because it is increasingly how customers choose suppliers.
  • Every road ends at a quote. The quote button and phone number sit in the header and top bar on every page, desktop and mobile.
