WorkCase study / Contact centre and research

Money Information Centre.

A UK contact centre selling outbound marketing, consumer support and telephone research to financial services firms. Their pitch is accountability, so we built a site that shows it in one screen: a live service board, four desks on one switchboard, and compliance written for the people who check it.

01 / Where it started

Accountable work, in one screen.

Money Information Centre runs outbound marketing, inbound support, telephone research and appointment setting with UK-based agents. Its buyers sit in regulated markets and read the compliance section before the services one.

  • The pitch is accountability: every call, survey and campaign logged, not a black box.
  • Buyers check compliance first, so it had to be plain and specific.
  • A small team, so the site had to run without upkeep.

02 / How it ran

Board, desks, compliance, launch.

A small, focused build from design to a live enquiry inbox.

Enquiries

Form sent by SMTP to the firm’s own mailbox, tested end to end.

Step 6

Launch

One Node process on our hosting, with a health check.

03 / What we built

The structure is the pitch.

The four services are presented as four desks on one switchboard, which is how the firm actually runs, and a live service board sits beside the headline.

  • Compliance for the people who check it. TPS and CTPS screening, GDPR and PECR handling, recorded and scored calls and vetted agents, each in its own plain-English panel.
  • One small application, no CMS. A single Node app serves the pages and handles the form: no WordPress to update and no plugins to patch.
  • Enquiries that arrive. The form sends to the firm’s own mailbox, and a health endpoint lets us check the service is up.

04 / The site

A switchboard, not a brochure.

The homepage and the compliance section that buyers read first.

05 / The build

Small, fast and low-maintenance.

  • A hand-coded front end with its design tokens at the top of one stylesheet.
  • Served by Express on our hosting, with the form handler alongside, deployed as one process.
  • No database and no login, so there is very little that can go wrong.

06 / Where it stands

Live, and taking enquiries.

The site is live, with enquiries landing in the firm’s own mailbox.
