Services03 / Custom plugins

When the plugin you need does not exist, we write it.

Off-the-shelf plugins get you most of the way and then fight you. We build WordPress plugins around the exact job, so your site works the way your business does.

01 / Watch it come together

From spec to activated.

A bookings plugin, start to finish. This is how every plugin we write is scoped, built, connected, secured and shipped.

01

Scope

A written spec of exactly what it does, agreed before any code.

02

Build

Native WordPress admin screens that feel like part of your site.

03

Integrate

Connected to the services you already use: payments, calendars, accounts, SMS.

04

Secure

Nonces, capability checks, sanitised input and escaped output on every screen.

05

Ship

Versioned, documented and activated, with updates handled.

02 / What is included

Exactly the feature you were missing.

Bespoke functionality

Pricing logic, custom post types, calculators and workflows built around how you actually work.

API integrations

Stripe, Xero, Google, Twilio, couriers, CRMs and anything else with an API, wired into WordPress properly.

Booking and appointments

Slots, capacity, deposits, reminders and calendar sync, without paying monthly for a clunky SaaS.

WooCommerce extensions

Custom product options, checkout rules, trade pricing and fulfilment links for stores that outgrew the defaults.

Admin tools

Dashboards and screens that save your team hours, built inside the WordPress admin they already know.

Secure and documented

Reviewed against WordPress security standards, update-safe, and documented so any developer can pick it up.

Why it matters

Twenty plugins held together with tape will break on the next update. One plugin written for your business does exactly what you need, and nothing it should not.

03 / How it runs

Scoped, built, shipped.

Fixed price per version, a written spec before any code, and updates handled after launch.

Questions

About custom plugins.

Anything else, ring us. A five minute conversation usually answers more than a five page proposal.

Why not just use an existing plugin?

Often you should, and we will say so. When you are stacking several plugins to fake one feature, paying monthly for something basic, or fighting a plugin that does not quite fit, a custom one is usually cheaper and far more reliable.

Will it break when WordPress updates?

It is written to WordPress coding standards using its own APIs, and on a care plan we test it against every major WordPress and PHP release before you update.

Can you fix or extend a plugin someone else wrote?

Yes. We review the code first and tell you honestly whether it is worth extending or better rebuilt.

Can it connect to our accounting or booking software?

If the software has an API, almost certainly. Stripe, Xero, QuickBooks, Google, Microsoft, Twilio and most couriers and CRMs are routine.

Who owns the plugin?

You do, outright. No licence fees, no lock-in, and full documentation so another developer could maintain it.

Got a feature you are missing?

Describe what you need it to do. We will tell you whether a plugin already does it, or what a custom one would take.
